Learning about visual pathways is complicated and unintuitive. I created a patient education brochure that breaks down the basics of vision in the brain and explains a rare and serious condition: homonymous hemianopsia.
I made this piece accessible to a patient audience by using plain language and defining unfamiliar terms while keeping explanations concise. Visuals are simple, clearly labelled, and friendly to help patients stay engaged in reading.
