In collaboration with researchers at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, I developed these comics based off people’s experiences with mpox (formerly known as monkeypox) during the Canadian outbreaks in 2022. Working from interview transcripts, I developed visual narratives that represent the fear and stigma experienced by gay and queer men during these outbreaks.
